Faire du vélo, nager et pêcher est parfait dans cette région. De plus, visiter les anciens villages et anciennes villes est un beau voyage dans le temps. Le matin il y a souvent des marchés locaux avec une ambiance agréable. Le parc régional de Brenne est parfait pour faire du vélo ou de la marche et profiter des oiseaux qui y chantent. Un voyage sur l’eau avec un canoë est également très bien. A Chaillac, il y a un grand lac de loisirs avec une plage de sable. Il y a divers équipements de jeux dans l’eau et un sauveteur est présent en haute saison. Visiter d’anciennes villes

Saint-Benoit-du-Sault est une jolie ville médiévale avec un office de tourisme. De plus, il y a aussi un supermarché dans cette ville. Montmorillon est une ville d’écrivains et d’éditeurs qui vaut vraiment le détour. Argenton-sur-Creuse possède un joli musée archéologique où l’on peut visiter un village gallo-romain. Oradour-sur-Glane
[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]Si vous prenez la voiture vous passerez a côté du village d’Oradour-sur-Glane qui peut également être visité. Le 10 juin 1944, un régiment allemand a complètement fermé et détruit ce village. Au total, 642 personnes ont été assassinées. Seulement 6 personnes ont survécu à ce massacre. Dans l’euphorie de l’invasion et de la paix qui a suivi en 1945, cette tragédie est passée presque inaperçue. Un musée a été installé à l’entrée du village. A la sortie du musée on se retrouve directement au milieu du village. Il y a toutes les ruines encore en état d’après la destruction. Tout a été laissé tel quel depuis ce jour-là. Vous pouvez également aller voir le nouveau village d’Oradour-sur-Glane, à deux pas du village d’origine.
